Bhimavarapu Mouli Aravind

Bhimavarapu Mouli Aravind is a visually challenged student from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. He has completed his plus two under the Andhra Pradesh State Board and has secured a stellar 91.2 percent in the Commerce stream. Arvind's father is a compounder in a hospital while his mother is a homemaker. He has a younger brother who studies in the 9th standard. Arvind's interests include playing cricket and listening to music. He was introduced to the idea of studying law through an IDIA sensitization program conducted at his school.

Prior to this, Arvind had no knowledge about the enormous opportunities thrown open to one by the study of law. While he believes that law is a very interesting and challenging field of study, his ultimate, long-cherished dream is to become an I.A.S. officer. His role model is Mr. Srinivasulu, a visually challenged I.A.S. officer from his own hometown. Arvind believes that becoming a successful lawyer would not only be a personal achievement but also turn him into a role model for other visually challenged students like him. He secured All India PWD Rank of 10 in the CLAT and PWD Rank 3 in NLU Odisha entrance examination. Eventually, Aravind secured admission in the WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
